Very very bad customer service. We initially logged issues in the portal, it took months for them to reply (after we sent multiple emails to follow up). Some of the minor issues were eventually fixed but major issues remained. Then one day, we just couldn't log in our account. We contacted them and they said there was a system update and we should be able to log in the next day. But it never happened. We finally gave up and try to contact BHH rep by emails.

Two major issues:

1. Similar to the other review, the concrete floor in the yard and drive way peels off badly after this winter. The rep came and said that we shouldn't have used salt to melt the ice in winter. I said we did use salt at the front door but not at the area that had peeling issue. Then said they will look at it but no feedback after that. Every time we contacted them and asked for an inspection (we gave them permission to enter the yard for inspection even if we were not at home), they said it would be done the next day and then nothing happened.

2. The hard wood floor is making noise every time we walk on it. When we first contacted them about the issue, they quickly replied it was because of temperature change without even looking at the floor. Eventually the floor contractor came and replaced two pieces but didn't fix the cracking noise at all. The answer was "give it some time and it will recover". Now it's been more than a year and the noise gets even worse. I'm not an expert but the floor installation seems to be poor. There are gaps or bumps in between. We may contact the floor contractor one more time but if they refuse to provide any actual help, we may just give up and fix it by ourselves.

We didn't expect a new home will have issues like this. And the poor customer service makes the whole experience even worse. I'd rather they say "this is none of our business" than "we will look at it" and then nothing happens. We will never buy houses from BHH again and won't recommend it to anyone we know.
