So it's my first trip to the Philadelphia Center City scene in 20 year, and I have to say it was a really good one. I chose this place because a good friends fiancee works there and I felt it would have been a good start for me being that everything has changed from the last time I visited, and my sister is the Executive Chef for another one of the Steven Starr restaurants. The food at El Vez was excellent, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. It was a Tuesday evening and I had a half hour wait to be seated, but with everything there is to do and see in Center City, the wait felt more like 10 minutes. Great experience any way you look at it. Definitely will be visiting this place again.
