We came on Christmas Eve, and I ordered the Steak and Shrimp combo, which is one of my favorites. However, when Iwas about half-way into eating it, I noticed that the portion of steak was noticeably smaller than usual. The amount of shrimp was okay. Maybe I didn't notice it right away because I don't use the tortilla to wrap the food; I put the other ingredients on the plate, stir them around, and start eating. That tends to make it just look like a big pile of food. It's only when you have eaten a substantial amount that the proportions of individual ingredients become noticeable.

I pointed this out to our waitress, but she displayed no serious concern. She was more interested in selling us dessert.

I'm not sure where I'm going to put Chili's on my list of go-to restaurants after this. Everybody makes mistakes, but the lack of interest by our waitress coupled with no visit from management to check into the situation (she may not even have told them) will play a major role in my decision.
