Our family has been enjoying a trip to Harmel's each summer for about 30 years. Our kids have become fishermen on this stretch of the Taylor River. A few years ago our son was married in an outdoor ceremony then we entertained about 100 guests at the picnic grounds, for a delicious barbecue.

Many memories have been made here with good friends and family, stories have been told at countless campfires under the stars. We love the authentic experience here and the feel of the rustic cabins with vintage cowboy decor. Nights are cool with the never-ending sound of the river to lull you to sleep. The Taylor canyon is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Our favorite place is on the deck at the restaurant with a fire burning and a cold margarita. Brad and Steve as well as some of the long term staff members have become our friends over the years. We now have 4 grand children to bring to Harmel's the accommodations work well for our family of 10.
