BMW are said to be luxury cars. I have a 2012 x5 BMW. Back in 2016 of December I had the water pump replaced, now in 2019 of June it needs to be replaced again. How many cars have you own and had to replace a water pump more than once. BMW state you can get a good 200,000-300,000 miles on these cars/suv s. I called and spoke with Dennis (8711), asking why would I have to replace another water pump on my car. He pretty much stated we only warranty parts for 2 years. Now we are talking about 40 thousand dollar car, where repairs/maintenance runs you about 1000-1500 every trip to the shop. Please help me understand with other cars that are not luxury one s , how many times would change the water pump? Per-reviews once in the life spans of the car. My car has 110,000 miles and it s been problem after problem. These cars are not luxury, you pretty much pay for the name. You are better off buying an infinite or Nissan to get your money worth. Beside my vent, they refuse to help repair the water pump that has already been repaired...Very unhappy customers and will never buy another BMW and will tell others my experience as well with the car and customer service people have to deal with!
