Waited in the lobby for an hour and a half. They said they'd call when my room was ready (time quote was 10 minutes) and they never did. So after an hour and a half of waiting BACK in line, we re-checked in. The red headed front desk manager was waiting for us up front-Jennifer or Jessica- honesty her name doesn't matter, she was so rude. Absolutely disrespectful and ugly. She did nothing to try and undo the hour and half damage that was done. No free stay, no half off room, no refund. Nothing. I actually over heard her saying that the people behind me would get half off their rooms, however, she would not give me that deal. Even though I was waiting longer than anyone behind me. In fact, she tried to make me pay MORE money! And she didn't even apologize for her attitude or the wait. We finally got to our room, and there were no towels, wash clothes, soap, or shampoo and conditioner. We called to get those items and 5 hours later, after we called again, they were brought to us. Ready to fall asleep and put this awful day behind us, there were wasps and water bugs in our rooms!!!!!!! Thankfully, there is one good Wyndham hotel employee- tall, red hair, with glasses- who actually listened to us. He moved us to a different and WAY better bug free room. Overall, this is the worst service and Wyndham I've EVER stayed at. I am very disappointed at the Wyndham Oceanfront.
