I have been coming to this large university hospital for 13 years. I see and notice that they are constantly broadening their view of their medical knowledge, but also in terms of taking our world into account as much as possible through solar panels, waste separation (they want to become the greenest hospital in the Netherlands and are already good here) on the way! Keep it up ) and also the opening of a new ultramodern day recording with OK department. They have very friendly and compassionate staff, but I have noticed over the years that in certain departments you now have to wait longer for treatment than when I arrived here at the beginning and I unfortunately find this a downside in my case, but when I do this department come there is always the help and care that I need at that moment present and after 13 years I know the different employees of the departments where I come but their me too!
This is also the case today at the endoscopy department for repositioning of a probe line. Paul has been working there as long as I have been there and always if he can ask how things are going and they are also in for a joke and a joke when this is possible and appropriate, nice department that has now been completely renewed a few years ago . And it looks much more patient-friendly. Recently I was waiting in the hall after a treatment and then an employee came from the restaurant of his break, he was already leaving for his office hours, but he came to me and sat down on my heels to catch up at eye level talking how I was now and after talking for 10 minutes he went to his office hours and when you get there, yes it always ends there but if I then have an appointment with him then he has all the time for me at that moment as a patient and that makes the wait worthwhile. It is just a shame that unfortunately he now only does the oncology patients and that I now have to go to different colleagues. I would have liked to keep him as a nurse practitioner with my probe problems because if something had to be arranged, he knew where and what he had to arrange and this happened very quickly, Carlo Schippers You are and remain the same year in year out, just a great pear! I still miss you as a contact person for my feeding problems and the controls and maintenance of my probe lines, if only I could go back to you. Maybe this is another option ...?
