I was sadly disappointed with the service I received at Airdrie Honda over the past week. I spent a total of four hours at this location (plus another two hours at the T&T Calgary location) looking for a trade in value for my current vehicle so I could budget for a new Honda. I have come to love and trust the Honda brand over the past 10 years but was shocked everyone was 'too busy' to help me - even after having made an appointment to come in the second time. In the six hours spent between two locations, I never got an actual trade in value amount for my car, which was the first question I asked when I came in.

I was told there was a vehicle available at T&T Honda which I drove all the way to see with the intent of purchasing. When I arrived, I was told it had been sold 3.5 hours before I was even told it was available the day before. While together they seem to have a massive inventory, it does move fast often without the knowledge of the other dealership so before advising a potential customer about a vehicle, ensure the car is, in fact, for sale.

When I went back to Airdrie Honda the next day, open minded and excited on getting answers, I was sent to a second sales associate after the first was busy (remember, I had an appointment with the first guy). He still wasn't able to give me a straight answer on a trade in value, but he was sure intent on 'crunching some numbers' on a new vehicle. I was promised a washed vehicle as well as a phone call that night with a trade in value (we are now at 6 hours of my time, trying to get this simple answer) .... I left with a dirty vehicle and am still waiting for that phone call - 4 days later.

Sad to say, I stopped by a different brand of dealership later that afternoon. I was given the answer I was looking for right away, I wasn't dragged around with promises of appointments and phone calls, and I purchased a new vehicle from them within an hour and a half of arriving.

I'm disappointed that I had to switch away from Honda, but I feel my time is important, especially with a substantial purchase such as a vehicle. I didn't feel valued nor important and was very much over promised but under delivered. I think Airdrie Honda deserves to know why I moved to a different brand, so hopefully your next potential customer doesn't leave with a sour taste as I did.
