Review of The Moorland Garden Hotel

The fact that this was our 6th long weekend break ...

The fact that this was our 6th long weekend break at this hotel in the last 18 months says it all. It is 5 star quality in every aspect, the staff, the rooms, the decor, the food and the gardens. Added bonus are the house martins nesting in the eaves, I could watch them by the hour.

The situation, just next to Haytor, is wonderful and is well situated for exploring the moors and surrounding area. We love Dartmouth and the many boat trips, but it is always good to return to the restful hotel at the end of the day.
