Dr. Sexton and his team have been so great. With hormonal imbalances and digestive issues, I have been so frustrated being told to take medicine at my traditional MD. I have tried everything to heal myself. However, it has been so difficult doing this on my own without tests and a doctor to interpret the tests. I have gotten tests done at the traditional MD but the tests were not the ones I needed, nor was there enough testing done. With Dr. Sexton, he has done SO much lab work, to really take a comprehensive look at what might be happening. A comprehensive exam that he does is so beneficial because the body is very complicated and is so connected so it is very hard to understand how to fix the problem without addressing all the different parts of it. Working with Dr. Sexton has made me feel like I can finally get to the root of what is actually happening in my body rather than taking a pill to mask the symptom, and let the problem create more problems in the process. Dr. Sexton spends a lot of time going over test results and making sure you are taken care of. I don't ever feel rushed out of the office, but rather feel like he is in this with me for the long haul to try and finally help me figure this out. With extensive testing and analysis, we are in the process of finally figuring out this problem of mine that has lasted for 10 years. Going this route of integrative medicine is a process but it is well worth it and the only true way to heal yourself without use of medicine!
