First, I would like to thank Honda for providing me with a rental car for almost 4 months. I have friends and family that have different brands of vehicles and they didn't provide a replacement vehicle.That being said ,this is the first time in 8 years it was a "not so good " visit. Sure you can't please everyone! Having been without my vehicle for so long, I was excited about getting it back. I just want to say I'm very disappointed in the communication that has taken place. Having been told up front it may take a little over a month to get parts in, I was good with that ! In mid July I called and no one could get an update. Still waiting... Ok I'll go with that. First of August , as your watching your tires get low, battery now dead. ... Call again with again No Update. All along , I would randomly receive emails to confirm my appointment on Sun at 12 midnight to come get my car. I called and they told me it was automatically generated every 30 days when I would rewrite on my rental! When I spoke with Steve it was ask to make sure that the recall on my door lock (actuators?) be taken care of at the time the air bag was, it was never put on service report. This past Saturday when I was called and missed the call , I called Steve back after hearing the message If I couldn't return the rental within the next 24 hours call him back we would work something out ! This was 1 pm, I return the called shortly after ... Try 3 times up til closing with messages left and no return call. Monday morning I call first thing to try and make sure the door lock was fixed before I came down, guess what it had been overlooked. Get to Chattanooga about an hour and twenty minutes from home around 4:00 to find my vehicle outside the bay ready to go with door lock fixed , tires sensor on; the back right tire when I asked for them to check had 20 lbs of pressure! Nasty car that had sat almost 4 months couldn't even get a complimentary wash! But your ready to go Mrs. Reece ! After leaving, I didn't even get to Chickamaga dam and the air that I thought was just taking a while to cool off due to the temp outside, was still blowing the hottest air . Called down just to ask if something might have got unplugged or a hose not put on while replacing the air bag part , I was assured by a receptionist that would never happen, I wasn't accusing, just asking because it was vey hot and I was on my way to pick my child up from daycare to have her sit in the heat! Thought it was a reasonable question! I'm no mechanic , and almost positive she isn't either! This being said , it has my me really question do I still want to upgrade to the pilot I have been waiting to trade for???? Do I really want to deal with Honda of Chattanooga?? It just bothers me that I was put on the back burner and have also spoke highly of Honda of Chattanooga!
