I had breakfast with friends at Cumulus downstairs...

I had breakfast with friends at Cumulus downstairs on Sunday, & was amazed how unfriendly the staff seemed. We sat outside which was lovely but the table was small & yet the staff didn't seem to recognise that in order to make room when our breakfast arrived they needed to clear empty glasses & plates. This happened several times. We asked for more water but the waiter didn't seem to think she should remove the empty carafe.
Given the reputation of the restaurant I wouldn't have anticipated this would happen, as friendly efficient staff are basic requirements of hospitality.
