I would highly recommend visiting the icebergs to anyone in the Bondi/Coogee area. The facilities are excellent, and unlike in the Newcastle, the cafe didn't solely rely on having a captive audience, producing quite good coffee and toasties. At $7 admission (for an adult) it is a very viable alternative to navigating the crowds on the beach.
