Faded glory. No idea how this hotel gets its stars. There was a pungent stench in our room. When we reported this to the staff, it was initially suggested that they look for the well and clean our room again while we were out the door. Upon my return, the sliding doors to the balcony were wide open while my laptop and all valuables were on the table. The balconies on our floor are adjacent, so all neighbors could have walked in. The stench was not gone by the way. Then we were assigned another room by the staff. It was fine, but in terms of quality certainly not what you expect for that price. In the evening in the bar we were served a wine that had clearly been open for far too long. Overall a very disappointing experience. The staff were very polite and friendly, but that does not alter the fact that this hotel has lost its luster long ago.
