Alpine Slide, we went there to have a family day. UGH first there were NO signs telling us were to check in or go. We first parked by the hotel and was told to move, we then park by the gondola and that person told us it only runs till 6 pm if we were going to stay later we may want to go to the bottom of the parking lot. We went to the bottom and I found an employee and asked them where the handicap parking was. He pointed all the way down the bottom of the hill. I told him why we came and he said "park down there then walk up here and you can check in" .... SO we parked DOWN there and WALKED with my handicap husband UP the hill. NO shuttle bus NO golf cart. Then we find out they are having a Whiskey and Wings festival. After trying to get my husband over to were we were to check in they told us we had to walk all the way DOWN the hill he just walked up. To say the least I was livid!! We walked all the way through construction and pass fences and more construction. My husband was exhausted. He could not walk anymore so he sat on a bench for the 5 hours we were there. He had intentions of playing golf and maybe the slide after we checked it out first. He was so soar from walking up and down and thru construction he fell asleep on the bench. I will say the slide was good but got old after 6-8 times. the mini golf was lame... climbing wall lame and the bungy was only for kids. We couldn't walk back the the Whiskey and Wings because my husband would of never made it. If I would of been made aware of all the circumstances and that they are not handicap accessible we would of never gone. I can understand during the winter, but if your going to make a "winter thing a summer thing" then make it so all can enjoy and make it handicap accessible. Signs on where you are suppose to go and where you should park. A shuttle or even a golf cart would of been helpful or we would of taken our own so he can get around. There were 5 of us so I wasted the money on my husband and will never go back again.
