I don t know where to begin! My wife and I stayed at Gurney s Montauk Resort for our honeymoon for one day and it was complete BLISS. They offer a shuttle service from the LIRR to the resort which is complementary and the Guest Services staff are very friendly and punctual. The resort has a wonderful home away from home feel starting with the lobby. The decor is so beautiful and clean.

We had an ocean view room that was like a dream. You walk out from your back door and there is a trail that leads to the beach which the view alone from your room is incredible. Our room was set up beautifully and the bed was so comfortable from the pillows to the mattress. We absolutely loved the beach and it s services. I don t know how to paint this picture the right way but picture walking from your room right onto the beach where there are chairs with umbrellas, hammocks, and a beach cafe that serves food and drinks while watching the waves delicately crash on to the shore. Honestly, it was like something out of a movie. We spent most of our day there and we were lucky because it wasn t crowded at all.

When we went to the spa we didn t know what to expect! The seawater pool was a top priority for us and it really felt great compared to any regular pool. The spa area offers the real treat from the cold water showers to the Eucalyptus infused steam room to the bubbling hot tubs, just to say the least. We loved how it felt so soothing in their spa facility and it really did melt the stress away.

We had a reservation to the upscale Scarpetta s Italian Cuisine and we must say, wow! The spaghetti was out of this world and the entrees were amazing! My wife had the halibut and I had the organic chicken and the way they prepared the food was definitely upscale. I don t want to leave out the Tillie s restaurant and Corso s coffee cafe which both served great food and tasteful coffee.

We really have to point out that without such an amazing staff this experience would have never happened! We would like to thank Janet at the front desk for such a warmful welcoming. She was really nice and helpful. We would like to thank Caeser as well for being there for us when we needed it. We would like to thank Brandon, Director of Rooms, for giving us an amazing experience and helping us with everything we needed. To Anabel and Narcisa, from reservations, thank you so much for the wonderful set up in the room and for going above and beyond our expectations. You have made a dream become reality with the experience we have had and we will never forget it! Thank you!

From the wonderful location to the amazing staff to the beautiful beach and spa facilities to the comfortable, cozy rooms, we couldn t get enough of this place and we will be going back there for the Fall season and recreate our wonderful experience. Gurney s is truly a hidden gem and it really is paradise!
