Welp, if you happen to think this pays well you're right. But, that is only after 16hrs of manual labor with less then 6hrs of sleep on average for 2 months. Not to mention the huge expense of gear and items needed for life at sea coming out of your paycheck. Then if you break contract they take flight expenses on top of that. If you value your safety, health, and free will I would say really give this a second thought before signing that contract. I'm surprised more posts don't discuss these issues. I was put on their oldest ship so maybe my first time was unique to most. But, nothing about my experience was worth it in my opinion. Accept of course meeting interesting people and just adapting to life at sea. Considering the amount of time and energy I put in does make my paycheck a bit insulting. Did I mention that the fish at the end of my second trip had literally tons of fish contaminated with sewage water and thusly couldn't be put up for market? Meaning money out of our shares..
