Review of Hotel Eastlund

A medium size hotel near the convention centre and...

A medium size hotel near the convention centre and the Moda stadium but a bit far from downtown. It is true that the public transport system is steps away from the hotel and you can go almost every where from the hotel but if you like walking to amenities or places this is not for you.
The hotel is nice with funky decor. The rooms are really nice with mega confortable beds -really-. The rooms have a small fridge which is very useful and also a safe. Their bathrobes are really comfy and the bathroom is functional but not luxurious. In winter the bathroom floor is like walking on ice!
Some say the hotel is in a noisy area but that was not our experience.
The staff is friendly but not all of them. Some are quite indifferent whereas others really want to help. I would say that the staff selection is uneven.
The restaurant is mediocre not good not bad..there are way better choices elsewhere.
In general I would say it is a nice and confortable hotel and we would come back as we felt that distance from downtown was not an issue.
