Windows 10 (1709) is the most unstable system I've ever had after the Creators update (hidden Meltdown / Specter update). Windows 95OSR2 / Windows 98SE were significantly more stable.
Since I received the Creators update with things I will never use and are difficult to uninstall, it freezes on average every 5th hour. I don't know if it's a Creators update or Meltdown / Specter updates.
I have FX6300 / GTX750Ti, 8GB Samsung RAM, Intel SSD. I had on the same hw, Win 7, 8.1 and now 10. MS Event log, Symantec SEP logs, look the same as on Win 7 at work and nothing. hw scan (hdd, ram) revealed no damage, burn test (cpu / gpu) without defects. Until the Creators update, I didn't have a single freeze, bsod, bugs in the event log, etc. Now it freezes after him on the weekend and several times a day. Just freezing that takes hours and does nothing but restart. I uninstalled all the updates that went and no change. I only use extended sw, hw nothing extra. When using MS Edge ver41, it froze every two hours, now with FF57 it freezes about 1-3 per weekend day. MS Event log is virtually free of error warnings.
I don't know what you did, but it's a tragedy.
