Jurgita Drigotaite Review of SS Great Britain: Visualising ...
The museum left this boat with a great impression ...
The museum left this boat with a great impression !!!! I really recommend visiting everyone. Price 17 pounds for adults and children from 5m 10 pounds, but really worth it. We had 2 hours, it was not enough time to slow down, to see everything in more detail for 3 hours. What astonished us most was that all the premises were restored as it was in 1843, when the boat first departed from Bristol, from the dock where it stands now. Made of waxy people, sounds and even scents !!!! If you go through the scent-to taste the scent of pancakes, the fish-fish, the wc-it's even a nose to cover :) the kids could have made mice masks, told about rats on the boat, they could dress up the clothes of the time and make photos and more activities. The boat is really impressive, as it is even 98m in length. The first longest ship made of metal and with a screw that transported people across the Atlantic Ocean. Recorded through 14d. Around the world has been flooded 33 times. Even the young Queen Victoria was fascinated by his comfort and luxury. 1886 Damaged by storms and the Falkland Islands became a floating warehouse, but returned to its dock in Bristol in 1970 and made a museum of boats.
