I love Wintergreen. While the volatile weather can make it difficult to provide good skiing conditions, the resort does its best to deal with it. Varied events in the summer, including band concerts, Independence Day fireworks, and local craft sales make the off season nearly as enjoyable as the winter months. Also, the hiking trails are beautiful.
