Tigers for Tomorrow is a amazing place. The animals were beautiful. They have barnyard animals, tortoises, tigers, lions, ligers, foxes, panthers, leopards, bears, and so much more. They have a big cat playground, this large 3 acre area is on a rotation so all of the animals get an oppurtunity to run and play in it. What a great idea to implement. There is enrichment items in every exhibit; balls, barrels, box enrichments, and food enrichments. The animals look very happy. You can tell they have awesome relationships with keepers as the animals greet them with chuffing and purrs as they walk by. They have a large gift store that is well priced. Great place to get gifts for any animal lover. The majority of the sanctuary is not paved. Make sure to wear comfortable closed toed shoes, as you walk on some uneven terrain. You are able to get close to the animals, which is a great experience to have. Pictures are now allowed. You can walk through or go on a tour, they need to be scheduled in advance. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They have several events that look fun posted on both their website and Facebook page along with many ways to be part of this beautiful place from volunteeeing to donations. Definitely follow them on FB as they post upcoming events, information on the animals, fun facts, and some pretty awesome pictures. Always check their hours when planning a trip as they change seasonally. The tours are great and extremely informative if you choose to go on one. Really enjoyed this amazing place. They have a large Pavillion if you pack a lunch and several places where you can sit next to exhibits and converse with animals. You are sure to hear the wolves howling or lions roaring. There was also Gatorade in the gift shop and down in the preserve at the watering hole. Tip: Put the cellphones away and enjoy the nature walk while surrounded by this amazing animals. Great to clear your head and just take in all its beauty. Highly recommend visiting!
