Couldn t attend a workshop because of family emergency and they refused to refund 9k I paid as advance. It s very odd for a charitable society to have non-refund policies like private companies. They also ignored my request for a mailing list of participants for car pool /travel coordination, whereas I have been to workshops where organizers go out of their way to help participants reach the venue.
