I really enjoyed being here, if the word enjoyed is at all appropriate.

You set off at intervals of 15 minutes in groups of about 15 - 20. As you work your way around you move through time and feel what it would have felt to be Jewish during the Holocaust.

It is an incredibly respectful and yet still harrowing journey through the exhibition. It is done on such a big scale but without the detail or individual stories being lost.

I have trully never felt as I did when I left here. I was actually tired and felt really drained. It takes about 3 or 4 hours to do it properly which given the topic is tough. So go prepared.

This is definitely a must! If you are in DC go. Make sure you book your tickets early, they go fast. Within minutes.
