I ordered the Gauntlet .177 combo kit with Scope a...

I ordered the Gauntlet .177 combo kit with Scope and hand pump. Could not pressurize the rifle with the supplied Umarex hand pump, shroud wobbly, bolt sticky, scope kept sliding off the rail even when tightened down completely, manual illustrations did not match the rifle, paint peeling off the hand pump. I sent it back and Umarex gave me a full refund. I understand when you get a well made one, the rifle is awesome. It it s clear that quality control remains a big issue.

Three months later - I got a replacement and it is indeed a wonderful rifle. Bolt on this one sticky too but none of the other issues. I shouldn t have had to go through all the hassle but in the end, I m very happy with the product. Now let s see if it lasts.
