A place every Disney fan should visit. Located in the Presidio which is walking distance from the Golden Gate Bridge the museum is an enjoyable place to spend several hours. The museum tells the story of the life of Walt Disney from his simple beginnings to his most unlikely of successes.

Like his life the exhibits start simple and grow in complexity as you follow the chronology of his life. Even the path through the museum winds more and more until reaching an amazing symphony of sight and sound culminating with some of his most well known accomplishments.

The dazzling displays become almost overwhelming and you feel like you are part of the excitement in a room filled with an array of products from Walt s vivid imagination. Then everything suddenly stops. The walkway narrows. Walt Disney has died.

It would be difficult to leave without a teardrop in your eye and an understanding of what Walt Disney s Legacy is. An emotional experience.

The museum tells a wonderful story of a man who dared to dream bigger than anyone and had the courage and persistence to make those dreams a reality.
