I was charged $900 for a job that was never done. The technician LIED! After it was brought to JM attention, they finally credited the Old Union account $450. Uuuuuh, $900 was charged. Where is the other $450? It's over TWO YEARS NOW (Today is 12/29/17) and after going back and forth, them calling my job leaving messages with the secretary (co-workers joking...OH ! They want THEIR money now) I stopped paying when the account was at approximately what THEY never took off. Well, JM finally, aaaall of this decided to "look into it" and of course QUESTION me. Why would I be dishonest about this? You already see you guys credited the account a few years ago...HALF! If a waiter brings your check to you with an extra meal on it, you expect the ENTIRE AMOUNT to come off, not HALF. SO, I thought we were getting somewhere finally, 12/18/17, when Liz called me, AGAIN (short version of convo) inquiring about the payment because she said Old Union and John Moore are separate, and we still owe them. Ok, but you know we are in the middle of getting the account situated. I'm a customer. I'm not the one accountable for you alls mistakes. JM and OU were made aware of this concern years ago. Finally, I was told BOTH late charges would be dropped. Ok. Thank you. Well, JM just had sent a refund check (thank you) so I could pay off Old Union. I feel they should have just credited the OU account like they did a couple of years ago. I told Liz, 12/18/17 that we will be sending that balance payment now (amount stated without the two late fees). Called my husband immediately to give update. I THOUGHT everything was fine now and we would soon be finished this situation. Why the SAAAME evening 12/18/17 OLD UNION's credit report made a hit on credit report... negative. I called back and left a message. It was after hours. Trust me, I have no problem talking to someone directly. But, this is DIRTY and I have lost ALL respect for both companies. I asked, why would you guys file a report like this, knowing the account was in an active dispute, BEING RESOLVED? Now, I've gotten a call from someone else, Paul I think. Well, I was too upset to talk to anyone at either place (they are together) earlier this week. After I post this, I'll be calling. In messenge I told them I wanted an email (letter takes too long) STATING 1. my balance without the extra charges 2. and that the account will be $0.00 balance after it is received 3. and that it will be reported to the credit bureau immediately. Today is 12/29/17. WHEN this is resolved, I'll let you all know. Thank God, you all whom have NOT experienced this. I do know not everyone experience mishaps!
