This is just absolutely the sweetest, most authentic Italian restaurant in the Ggreater Baton Rouge area. Incredible food and fantastic service. I have been to Italy several times and, seriously, have not had better. From the appetizers to the dessert, there are no bad choices. The Mateo is one of my personal favorites, along with the Devil Spaghetti.
