Here s the thing. When you have a debt sent to collections, you are obligated to pay. I understand that, but collections can be awful. People aren t understanding. Just rude. The first lady (Peggy) I dealt with was pushy and not very informative. I demanded full info, but she didn t want to share the info: just seemed off to me. I didn t like her at all. She kept wanting me to agree to the debt and start payments. I was beyond angry and felt like she wasn t caring at all. I Was dealing with a lot in my life health wise and my daughter and it was the week before Christmas so I blew her off. When I finally decided to make the call back I was assigned to Christie Childers instead. Don t know why, but so glad I was! Different as night and day!!! I can t believe I m saying that I don t mind calling a collection agent, but she is kind, supportive and understanding and genuinely wants to help you! Has your best interest at heart but isn t pushy! So, for those who are saying they ve had a bad experience. Ask for someone else! Most of the time when you call back the phone routes you to the person you are assigned, so if it s bad, ask for someone else! From what I can see they have multiple good agents with just a few bad ones. And you can do it! Pay it off. They can help you find a way that works best for you and take the weight off of worrying about it. And I hope the company actually reads this...because she deserves amazing credit! To be in the business she s in and still show empathy and compassion is rare. She s an employee you want to keep!
