We came here on a last minute trip during the off peak season (winter). We checked in with a very friendly agent, who informed us to sign up with Marriott (this place is run by Marriott) to get WiFi. It s really simple and the WiFi was quick and always worked. There was also free water in the lobby, a balcony and a bar too. The small sweets placed at the counters are a nice touch too. The room was excellent. The balcony was nice and we had a decent view of the sea (we didn t book a proper sea facing room). There was Air-con which worked and a very good amount of TV channel choices. Room service prices are what you d expect from a 5 star hotel, but the quality was excellent. Same can be said for the breakfast, which was amazing and there were new choices every day. All staff were amazing. We also tried Palio s restaurant which is sadly only open on Fridays and the weekend. You must try the food there, especially the traditional Maltese tortellinis. As vegetarians, there were a decent amount of options, and the hotel is located close to town for many more restaurants. However, it s not noisy inside the hotel grounds, despite being close to the town. Whilst the sea was too rough (and cold) to swim in, there are 2 pools; one outdoor and one indoor. The indoor pool is warm and there is a decently warm hot tub next to the indoor pool too. Also, there were saunas and a spa available. Massages were available too and not for a bad price. The gym is excellent, and there is table tennis (YAY!). Would recommend the buses which tour Malta (they stop at the hotel, just ask an agent to help). Toilets are available outside the room too. Overall, an unforgettable experience at Westin Dragonara, would visit again!
