Unfortunately very varying experiences with the UMC. Years when things are going well compared to that one time in a department where there is bad trading, you stay the best (worst) unfortunately. Very good experiences with Oncology, very bad experiences with Medium Care department D3. Appointments that are only honored after 4 days, at the time of discharge (just before the weekend), instead of on time. For example, the removal of the stomach tube had to be lifted over the weekend; it was no longer possible to practice eating. Understandable: a shortage of staff, but the lack of contact about this I still find quite antisocial. As the first contact person, I expected a call (or 3), certainly after I had already called the department 4 times (once a day), to ask if the speech therapist had already come by and I could come by myself every day to to help with food. Zero at the petition, and finally, in my absence, my aunt was checked, found too light, and discharged from the hospital. I have submitted a complaint.
