Be careful when you book and confirm at this Hotel...

Be careful when you book and confirm at this HotelResort. My suite was booked and paid for in full over a week in advance by my travel agency and when i arrived to The Palms Place I was told that they have overbooked and did not have a room for me there. No previous warning. They were then sending to their other hotel The Palms Casino. I was told it was a premium room which was recently renovated and they would comp my resort fees. Big Deal $60 for 2 days. All it was was a bedroom with 2 queen size beds, bathroom and to top it off, I was on the side where the pool was so unfortunately from 9AM -6PM you hear the music that made glass windows vibrate. You could also hear it in the room. So much for sound proofing and taking a quick rest if you need to. This was in place of my Studio Suite which was supposed to be a King size bed, a Queen size sofa bed in my living room, 2 -42 inch flat screen TV's, a fireplace, state of the art kitchen, beautiful glass and marble bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub and TV....My room they had sent me to was a definate DOWNGRADE and all they did was compensate me the resort fees!!! I was unfortunately stuck with taking the room for Vegas as usual was insanely booked and I possibly would have been stuck having to wait to be reimbursed and maybe even not have found a decent room. It would have definately put a big hole in my fun money for the weekend. SO BE WARE!!!!
