The company installed a barrier to the car park where my sister rents a flat, and the requisite fobs for the barrier had been delivered via recorded delivery. The correspondence was not addressed to my sister, therefore anyone could have just signed for it.
Despite my sister being in her flat on the day the fobs were delivered, it appears another tenant/person signed for the fob, as my sister's flat's buzzer did not ring and she did not receive the fob at all.
When she informed the company of this, Jess (an employee at the company) queried if she had misplaced the fob, despite both the owner of the flat and my sister having confirmed previously that the fob had never been received. This was the start of the ridiculous service provided by the company. Despite ongoing emails between Jess, the owner of the flat and my sister, the company failed to resolve the matter or provide another fob. The company advised that my sister would have to pay for the fob to be replaced, even though she was at no fault and had never even received the fob.

The company had failed to deliver the fobs efficiently to the tenant, yet they expected the tenant to pay!!!!!

I called the company on my sister's behalf, and explained from the start of the call that I was calling on her behalf. I spoke to Linda, a Manager at the company. I advised her that for over a month a matter had been ongoing with them, and that for over a month my sister had been unable to use the allocated bay in the car park, which she was entitled access to as part of her tenancy agreement. I queried on what basis the company thought it was acceptable for the tenant to pay for their mistake.



Despite Linda being a Manager, her service was extremely poor. She was very unprofessional, unwilling to accept responsibility, and spoke over me on a number of occasions. When I advised I wished to make a complaint, she stated that she was a Manager and that she dealt with complaints. When I advised I wanted to complain about her shocking service, she advised only the owner could submit a complaint.

Funnily, the company had hand-delivered a letter to the tenants about the fobs, yet they chose to send the fobs via recorded delivery, despite knowing that in the past there has been issues with correspondence going missing, even though it had been signed for by another person.

I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST ISSUE WE HAVE HAD WITH THEM, AND THERE IS A TOTAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. THE STAFF HAVE EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATIONAL SKILLS, AND ARE VERY UNWILLING TO RESOLVE ISSUES, AND HANDLE THEM VERY BADLY AND SLOWLY.

If you do engage with them, be ready to pay for things which are not your fault...
