Rooms are dingy and dated, pre-eighties furniture and decor. Great location and very close to the business I do here but horribly maintained property. I've stayed here several times for convenience. Tonight was an all time low. Dirty bag of laundry on the hallway floor in the hallway bedside my door. They should have put the whole room in it. Blood Stains and burns all over carpet. Sunken in mattress on a squeaky bed frame, one of the beds is broken, headboard nearly unattached. Broken drapes with apparatus strings hanging. Food and a dead insect on the shade. But wait, there's less. Sink has blackened old caulk and missing the "cold" name plate on faucet. Empty nails on wall where a picture hung? Decent size room. Safe location. Amazing Central Park views in certain rooms. Hotel staff misleading ( this room was an "upgrade"), free cheap wine in a banquet room from 5-7. Surprise, $30 " Resort fee" charged at check in, no option. Really though, for nearly $400 a night?
