I traded in my sports car for a 4x4 truck at Ray Dennison about 3- 3 1/2 weeks ago. For the whole week before the trade in, the sales staff was very helpful. We wrote emails back and forth, since I work crazy hours, about what I was looking for and what I could afford after the trade in. I sent them a few invoice numbers and set up a time to come in. Upon arriving, I was greated by a great staff member named Brett Jennings. He had all the emails pulled up and started to bring trucks around for me to look at. After looking at a couple I decided on which one I really wanted. I took it home and within a few days I had a CEL and my truck smelled like fuel and had a small fuel leak. I plugged my scanner into it and found the problem. I went to the local parts store and changed the part in about 20 mins and the code went away but the smell of fuel and leak did not. Because of my crazy work schedule I was not able to take it in right away. When I was able to take it in for them to take a look at it they took it back to shop as fast as they could. Since I had to work in the afternoon they gave me a courtesy car for the evening. I went back early the next morning to see what the problem was. I talked with the very nice and helpful mechanic that was working on my truck. He showed me that fuel lines had a small hole in them from rusting out. He walked me to the front office to speak with the big boss. I was worried because as a mechanic I know how much a repair like this could cost. After meeting the big boss, who was very friendly and helpful, I was assured that I would not have to pay for the repair since I just got the vehicle and it was a BIG safety issue for both of us. I returned later that morning to pick up my truck when the repairs were done. My overall experience with Ray Dennison was outstanding. From the lowest level employee to the highest level, they were all great. They were willing to take their time and not feed me a line of crap like other dealers tried to do. My salesman Brett Jennings was great. He busted his butt to help me with every detail of my purchase. He even came in on his day off to ensure my repairs were done. Top notch dedication in my book for sure. Due to my great experience, I would HIGHLY recommend Ray Dennison Chevrolet in Pekin to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I will be going back to them for any future purchases. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you've done for me.
