This airport is huge and it is recommended to arrive early as check in queues and security screening queues can take awhile. Arrival to airport departure hall by car is also crowded. Security is strict as they will check every portable power banks, and confiscate ALL lighters and water. No smoking is allowed (no smoking rooms available) after once you enter the gate. Smoking only outside the airport. Distance to boarding gate can take awhile as you need to take a rail train to terminal 3 (2mins to Domestic gates, 4mins to International gates). Duty-Free shop has little cashiers. Customs clearance upon arrival to Beijing requires scanning of all fingers. Overall clean and big place.
