We booked Nova Bussing for our wedding in May and at the beginning, they were brilliant and always replied very quickly to emails etc.
However due to Corona Virus we had to cancel our wedding and postpone to September. Now due to the latest government restrictions it is looking like we will no longer be able to go ahead in September now either.
I contacted Nova Bussing and requested a full refund of my deposit and advised I would be happy to re book with them once things are a little more certain. They advised they could only give me 50% back despite the fact my booking hasn t cost them anything, and I have given them 8 weeks notice. There is absolutely no reason for them to keep our money when we are not cancelling through choice. To make things worse I was also advised that the 50% refund would not be given back to me until AFTER my event date so the end of September. No explanation was given and I have no idea why this will take 8 weeks when they took my money instantly via bank transfer. This company is great via the booking process but will not help you if you need help and have no interest in you once they have your money. It is stressful enough having to cancel and re plan your wedding twice without this additional upset. It isn t just the refund that s the issue but they haven t nt provided any explanation as to why they are keeping our money and just basically told me tough. I understand these are difficult times for everyone, but I know legally I am entitled to a refund and that I should have this within 14 days. I would not use this company again.
