Overpowering chemical smell that, as it faded, revealed that it was hiding the pungent smell of weed. Bathroom shower was configured for seated use, so I had to crouch in order to rinse my hair. Cheap veneer on the work desk was coming apart, making it hard to use. It all kind of felt like a Soviet bloc apartment building, albeit with newer fixtures.
