If delivery personnel do not know the difference between a garden gate and a front door, I can only advise against getting something sent with DPD ... so always check delivery options. This has happened to me for the fourth time this year. Even in the rain, a package was parked at the gate for everyone to see, without thinking about whether everything was OK.
