It doesn't matter your political leanings (we don't lean with Reagan/GOP), it is worth stopping here if you are in the vicinity of Simi Valley. It's amazing to visit one of the presidential historical sites, and the setting chosen for the Reagan Memorial is gorgeous overlooking Simi Valley. We stopped there en route from LA to San Francisco before we had kids. We'd love to take our kids there in a couple years so they can experience it.
