My sister and I have been trying to plan a vacation together. We both have young families so we needed it to be something we could do with small kids. My sister friend told her about a family vacation they took last year in Sicamous on a Waterway Houseboat. Once I had a look at the website the wheels started turning, l called and spoke with one of the guest services staff who told me all about the houseboats and all the things we could do with the kids in the area. I was sold and so was my sister. Once we told our husbands there was golf right off the lake the planning began. With 4 kids between 5 and 8 it was important to have sufficient bedrooms and bathrooms. We originally were going with one that slept 10 after looking over the layout we decided on the 70 ft Genesis it slept 16 giving us plenty of room and privacy too. The kids had their choice of rooms and loved the cubby berths; it worked out great. We had a ball and we can't wait to do it again.
