If you like science, nature, or just doing something out of the ordinary, you'll like Fermilab. I bring my kids to check out something that most will never see--a particle accelerator. People who live near here (myself included) forget about and take for granted that they live so close to a modern marvel. Albeit Cern has taken Femilab's crown as far as accelerators go, Fermilab continues to do extremely cutting edge, and relevant science everyday.

As a science dork, I love being around this place; as a nature lover, I love being around this place; as a dog owner I love taking my dog to the dog training area; and as a father, I love the fact that my kids can learn about the nature of the universe right in my own backyard.
