I booked a reservation through orbitz.com. I am aware the room was non refundable. I had to cancel the reservation due to my partner being an essential frontline worker. I cancelled the reservation 20 minutes after it was made. I contacted orbitz and asked if they could make an exception and issue a refund. They said it was up to resorts to approve it. Resorts denied it. I emailed resorts also and got no response. However when I contacted orbitz a second time and was put on hold for 15 minutes the lady came back on and said she spoke to the manager at resorts and they have been in contact with ne. I received no email from resorts. So I emailed them a second time and still no response. I asked that resorts could have empathy for two essential workers who have been working non stop through this pandemic and issue a refund for the non used room. Shame on resorts for not contacting me and ignoring my request. You have now lost a customer for life. Joanne
