I love when the absurd cannot be ignored. Walking ...

I love when the absurd cannot be ignored. Walking off a quintessential Seminyak street; money changers, souvenir shops and every other south East Asian contrivance into a veritable culinary cave of wonders is a juxtaposition most sharp. Absurd even.

A degustation menu designed to captivate the imagination and ensnare the senses. Each course thoughtfully paired with stems of wine even Bacchus couldn't fail to at least double take; more likely find himself a table in gleeful expectation...

Patronage this evening chose a mixture of extreme casual attire - T shirts and slides to an intoxicating camisole and short shorts number that won't soon be forgotten by staff and diners alike. As for yours truly, humbly, linen blazer and denim (Located in the tropics after all...).

Please. Bring the most enchanting man or woman you'd like to spend upwards of three hours with (preferably trained in the finer nuances of conversation) and spoil them. I insist.

To those uninitiated a true ancilla for international fine dining, to the more seasoned gourmand - home.
