With bad weather we drove from Brunssum to the AWACS base at 1 p.m. via the recommended route and set navigation.
You have to drive via the Knuppstrasze! Closed by the Polizei! No signage or anything!
A 1 hour detour provides a parking space somewhere afterwards at +/- 1 km from the gate of the entrance. Then walk 2 km further and no getting through. We turn around tired.
Worthlessly organized! No info, no diversions, not worthy of a military organization! Inwardly furious, but drove home in tears! An illusion, to see an AWACS device, which we experience as a noise device, once inside, poorer! After driving back and forth for 30 km we arrived home at 4 pm.
