I first decided to try Laser Hair removal with The Angel Clinic after reading some awesome on-line reviews about them. So I think it is only fair to tell about my own experience there and help other users!

I started my laser hair removal about two and a half years ago. From the very beginning I was very impressed with the Angel Clinic's impeccable premises and lovely staff. Believe me, those "external" aspects help a lot to make your experience positive.

I was told straight forwardly that depending on the hair type and body hormones a person needs between 6 to 10 sessions to suppress the hair growth, and possibly top-ups every year or two.

Although the price is usually the main consideration against laser hair removal (I wasn't an exception there, being a poor graduate in expensive London), I found that the Angel Clinic was offering some good deals, if you commit to have 6 sessions, and you don't need to pay upfront as many other places ask!!

I started with a full bikini area (try waxing that! I have and I don't wish that even on my enemies...even shaving is very unpleasant for that area). I did not find the treatment painful although I do have dark hair. The slight twinging sensation was nothing compared to the pain from waxing. Also it was quick! So yes, you can survive that, even, if your pain tolerance is lower than mine. After the treatment I didn't notice immediate hair loss, in fact it looked to me like my shaved to the skin hair was growing, but that was simply the burn and severed at the follicle hair being pushed out! It was amazing when maybe about a week or so after the treatment I could simply pluck the short stubble out with my fingers - like removing a fallen eyelash.
This same process occurred after every subsequent treatment.

My hair didn't re-grow back for more than a month and a half and I have very strong hair - waxing normally doesn't last me more than two weeks before little ingrown hairs start poking out - a real bother to either wax or shave. No ingrown hairs with my laser treatment. The new hairs showed up softer and thinner.

I was scheduled to have an appointment every 2 months roughly for the first 6 treatments of my bikini area, but after the 3rd or 4th time I was so happy with the results that I opted to have my under arms and lower legs as well. And then I added on my lower arms (getting rid of that darkish downy fluff), upper leg and even the facial hair (lower lip, etc. that I normally subject to threading)...

And no! I did not find this expensive! Total value for money! And I am not made of money - I wouldn't have done it, if I wasn't happy with the results :)!

But to recap, the results!!! I am effortlessly hairless, save for some very natural looking feeble blonde tiny short hairs here and there only visible if you really search for them. My best results are on my lower legs and armpits (hair disappeared after only 3-4 sessions) and my toughest hairs was on the bikini (took about 10 sessions to ram the message in initially and I believe due to the hormones in the body, the hair still attempts to grow a bit there, but only in the very "deep" zone which is anyway covered by your bikini bottoms, not the bikini line - this is clear :)).

I did say I started doing this more than two and a half years ago. It only took about one year for the first 6 sessions getting rid of almost all of my unwanted hair. And about a month ago I had my first quick top up (with a beach holiday in mind :) and again I found it totally worth it - suppressing any new growth.

A tip: the more areas you choose to do at once the cheaper it works out. Really! Poor I was able to afford full de-forestation :). Check out other methods/other laser salons and you won't find them much cheaper, but more importantly are they as clean, friendly and efficient as the Angel Clinic?

By all means, if you like me are sick of having to think about hair removal, it is worth having a free consultation with them, and see if you get the good vibe and later - the good results that I got!
