The trip itself was needed, well rested and enjoyable but we won't be returning. We arrived the bank holiday Monday and left the following day.

Good points:
- the food was really well considered and very healthy
- our bedroom had a lovely view of the grounds
- the staff were really thoughtful and nothing felt pushy or forced i.e. treatments or purchases

Bad points:
- the check in process could have been much smoother and better organised. They do two optional tours of the resort (2:30 & 3:30). We didn't select either but wish we had because we feel we missed a lot. When you check in the front of house should take their time to go through the map with you and point out where everything is. No one told us where the gym or pool was.
- On the Tuesday when we were getting ready to leave I got ready in one of the changing rooms but was surprised there was no plug for straighteners nor was there a decent hair dryer and there was no shampoo/conditioner/products for you to try (get upsell tactic). I later found out this was all in the other changing rooms (the changing rooms I knew nothing about).
- the spa itself isn't that good, it's pretty tired in places
- the sauna and steam room are what you'd find in a normal gym
- all the spa extras you have to pay for. These should be inclusive.

All in all an average spa
