My experience with the rheumatology was awful. I have called to leave a message for my doctor regarding a change of medicine and I get a return call from a nurse saying that their is no pain medicine they can give me for fibromyalgia and I just have to deal with the pain. Everywhere in the world they have medicine to treat fibromyalgia pain and in the United States they tell me there is no pain medicine I can be given. When I asked her what I was suppose to do for those days that I can't even get out of bed she said she did not now and suggested I increase my exsercise and improve my sleep. I work out 7 days a week for 1 hour and the doctor knows this and so does she. I would suggest that people that are in the medical field and have no humanity consider finding another job where they don't have to deal with people.
