I would I ve 0 stars if I could. The worst customer service. Oh wait, we had no service!
On October 23, 2018 we were scheduled to have an August video doorbell and door lock installed between 8-12 am. At 12:20, unaware that Best Buy had subbed the job out to your company, we called Best Buy to find out why we had not been contacted and no one showed up. We were told the technician was running late and had picked up our job that morning and he would call us in a few minutes to let us know what time he would be here. At 2:15 I still had not heard anything and called again. While on the phone the technician finally called and said he was on his way. He got here at about 2:30 no apology and was somewhat rude Looked at the items to be installed, said that they had not been purchased at Best Buy which they were. Why would Best Buy set up the appointment if they were not purchased there? And then told me he did not install that brand. I did ask why we weren t notified he would be late and why, if he only installed The Ring devices he wouldn t check to see what brand it was before making us wait all day. No satisfactory answer was given. We were not aware that this job had been subbed to a 3rd party and had thought it would be the Geek Squad. I made another call to your company. After asking 4 times was finally put in touch with a supervisor, Andrea. She set up an appointment for today again between 8-12. I asked for the 1st appointment as we had already wasted an entire day and she agreed to give us a $50 credit. Well 12:00 came and went with no phone call. We had recieved a confirmation call the night before and our appointment was noted on the Best Buy website as being 8-12. Called your company again at 12:30, asked for Andrea, was told she was off. Asked for the supervisor of the day. Was given a hard time but finally someone who said she was a supervisor came to the phone. Apparently the tecnician who had been late and could not do the job on the 23rd put in a note cancelling our appointment. WE didn t cancel it,WE weren t notified that it was cancelled. A whole 1/2 day again wasted waiting. You customer service is horrendous. I have contacted Best. Buy regarding your company s business practices.
