Cataract surgery, two days ago. Amazing procedure, amazing results. The people I encountered along the way, from the Docs on down, including all the volunteers along the way. equally amazing. I'd been to a couple other VA Hospitals, back in the 70's,
got kind of spooked. Scared hell out of me! So, I didn't go back for 35-40 years,
might just go back up in the woods, not come back for another 35-40 years, but,
for now , I'm thankful for the care, compassion, and dignity with which I was treated.
